US degree days indicator through February 15

New York - The degree days indicator for US heating oil demand so far this heating sea- son (through February 15) was 6.04% less then the corresponding period of the last season and 3.78% greater than normal. The indicator is comprised of the average degree days for 18 geographically representa- tive US cities, weighted to reflect the cities’ relative consumption of home heating oil.
