Essar doubles domestic retail fuel sales in 2014-15

Mumbai-India’s Essar Oil has boosted its domestic retail business as sales vol- umes doubled in the financial year ended March 2015, in the wake of the government deregulating diesel prices in October 2014, the company said Monday announcing its January-March quarterly earnings. Essar Oil has 1,500 retail outlets at present and is in the process of adding 1,400 more as retail sales pick up, the com- pany said.
