Kuwait Energy-led group finds more oil in Egypt

A consortium of Middle Eastern independent oil producers and Australia’s Beach Energy has discovered more oil in Egypt’s Western Desert with its two latest wells drilled in the region, Beach Energy said Wednesday. The El-Salmiya-6 development well on the Abu Sennan license encountered 52 meters of net pay in its primary target, the Kharita Sandstone formation.
