Chevron studies fourth LNG train at Gorgon

Sydney-Chevron is evaluating a fourth pro- duction train at its Gorgon LNG project off Western Australia and marketing additional volumes from the expansion. Jay Johnson, senior vice president for upstream, told an investor briefing Tuesday that Gorgon was making steady progress toward first LNG in mid-2015, later than the original startup target of 2014 and a more recent target of Q1 2015.
