Algeria sets deadline for fourth licensing round bids

London—Companies interested in taking part in Algeria’s fourth licensing round have until August 6 to submit bids for the 31 blocks on offer, state energy regulator Alnaft said late Tuesday. Algeria launched the round, the first since the government reformed its oil and gas law in a bid to encourage international investors back to the country at the start of 2013.
