Kuwait’s Kufpec raises stake in China’s Yacheng

Singapore—Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Co., or Kufpec, has acquired an additional 15.3% stake in the Yacheng 13-1 gas field offshore China from BP—lower than the 34.3% stake that the company had planned to buy under the original agreement inked in December 2012.
