Sydney—In the absence of another acquisition opportunity, Woodside Petroleum’s decision to walk away from its proposed purchase of a stake in Israel’s Leviathan gas field (see story pg 4) has left the Australian group’s near term growth prospects resting squarely on its ambitious Browse floating LNG project.
