BP to decide on US Mad Dog phase 2 in Q1: CFO

London-BP expects to sanction the second phase of its major Mad Dog development in the US Gulf of Mexico in the first quarter of 2015, company CFO Brian Gilvary said Tuesday. Speaking on an analyst conference call following its third-quarter results, Gilvary said the project was becoming more attractive as rig rates softened following the recent global oil price fall.
