Iran continues LPG supply into China despite ban

Singapore—Iran is sending a steady stream of LPG to China in March, with almost 190,000 mt in five vessels departing from Iranian ports this month despite an EU ban on shipping insurance for propane and butane from the Middle East country. Four cargoes of 44,000 mt each have departed or will depart from Assaluyeh port this month, as well as a 13,000-mt parcel from Kharg Island, trade and shipping sources said Wednesday.
