Singapore—China’s crude oil imports in the first half of 2014 rose 10.2% year on year to 151.97 million mt, or an average 6.15 million b/d, despite sluggish domestic demand, latest data released Thursday by the country’s General Administration of Customs showed. In comparison, crude imports contracted by 0.7% year-on-year over the same period of 2013.
