Total pumps first oil from CLOV project off Angola

London—France’s Total said Thursday it has started oil production from its deepwater CLOV development offshore Angola, the latest major floating production storage and offloading vessel project startup from the country’s prolific Block 17. Total said the field start up, which the market had anticipated by late June, was line with the initial project schedule and was delivered within budget.
