China adds 665,000 b/d to crude stocks

Singapore-China’s total crude supply exceeded refinery throughput in September, implying 665,000 b/d of crude was added to domestic storage, according to Platts calculations Wednesday based on government data. The stockbuild last month was more than double the August addition to stocks of 279,000 b/d, although it was 35.5% lower than what was added in September 2013.
