Argentina cuts ethanol price, ups blend requirement

Buenos Aires—Argentina’s Energy Secretariat on Tuesday said it cut ethanol prices in November for the second straight month by 5% for oil refiners to mix into gasoline. Refiners this month must pay 8.614 pesos/liter ($1.01) for supplies of corn and sugarcane-derived ethanol to meet a 9.5% blend requirement in gasoline, the secretariat in a notice published on its website.
