Rio de Janeiro-Brazilian independent oil pro- ducer Oleo e Gas Participacoes edged closer to a turnaround Tuesday as the financially troubled firm reported a jump in crude oil output in September and a fresh reserve esti- mate for the Tubarao Martelo field. OGPar, which remains in judicial recovery after filing from protection from creditors in late 2013, produced an average of 17,508 b/d of 23 API rated medium oil in September from the Tubarao Azul and Tubarao Martelo fields, up 16% from 15,115 b/d in August, the company said.
