Algiers-International oil companies have picked up just four of 31 exploration licenses offered in Algeria’s fourth licensing round, the latest in a string of disappointing efforts by the country to attract new exploration spend- ing in the country. An Enel-Dragon oil consortium picked up two blocks, Tinhert Nord and Msari Akabil. A Statoil-Shell consortium was awarded Timis- sit and a Repsol-Shell partnership took the Boughezoul block.
