Singapore—Asia’s benchmark Singapore 92 RON gasoline crack spread hit its highest level in almost nine months Monday as planned turnarounds at key gasoline export refineries in Northeast Asia reduce gasoline supplies ahead of a predicted seasonal rise in regional demand. The spread between the Mean of Platts Singapore 92 RON gasoline assessment and front-month ICE Brent crude futures widened by 40 cents/barrel from the previous trading session, hitting $10.89 per barrel at the close of Asian trade Monday. That was the widest spread since July 22, when it was $12.26/b.
