Tehran—The decline in Iran’s crude exports as a result of sanctions appears to have halted, with current volumes below 1 million b/d, a senior Iranian oil official said in remarks published on Tuesday. In an interview with oil ministry news service Shana, Mohsen Ghamsari, director of International Affairs at the National Iranian Oil Company, said the volume was in line with the “quota” Tehran’s customers had accepted in order to avoid international sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program.
