Moscow-Russia and Ukraine have agreed on a price for Russian gas supplies to Ukraine this winter, as well as a debt repayment scheme, but a binding agreement still hinges on Ukrainian access to fresh funds pay for the deal. Russia’s energy minister Alexander said Novak Wednesday that the two sides agreed at EU-brokered talks in Brussels Tuesday on steps which would allow Russian gas deliveries to resume, and Ukraine’s debt to be restructured.
