Pony Mainline reaches 90% in shipper commitments

New York—The Pony Express Mainline, which is set to carry Rocky Mountain crude from Guernsey, Wyoming, to Cushing, Oklahoma, has firm shipping commitments for about 90% of its 230,000 b/d capacity, according to a securities filing. The so-called Pony Mainline has about 206,000 b/d of capacity committed under fiveyear firm contracts with an average weighted fee of $3.30/barrel, according to the filing, made by a unit of developer Tallgrass Energy. The larger Pony Express project includes the 690-mile Pony Mainline and newly constructed 66-mile Northeast Colorado Lateral. The lateral will connect with the Pony Mainline just east of Sterling, Colorado.
