Singapore—OPEC kingpin Saudi Arabia is seeing its market share of crude supplies erode in top buyer China, with sources attributing the decrease to relatively higher prices for Saudi crude this year. Over the first nine months of this year, China’s imports of crude oil from Saudi Arabia dropped 10.5% year on year to 36.6 million mt, or an average of 982,574 b/d, according to data from China’s General Administration of Customs.
