Iraq delays bid deadline for Jordan export pipeline

Dubai—Iraq has pushed back the deadline for bids for its planned 1 million b/d crude oil export pipeline to Jordan by four months to September, a source close to the project said Monday. Technical submissions to Iraqi’s State Company for Oil Projects, or SCOP, had been due at the end of May, but were pushed back after requests from several of the bidding consortia, the source said.
