Korean product exports to China rise in September

Seoul-South Korea’s exports of refined oil products to its biggest market China rose 3.7% year on year to 911,385 mt (6.68 million barrels or 222,680 b/d) in September, customs data showed Friday. The September shipments were also up 20.2% from 758,071 mt in August, according to figures from the Korea Customs Service. The increase in exports was mainly due to Chinese refiners lowering runs as a result of weak margins, an industry source said.
