ExxonMobil finds oil in Argentina’s Vaca Muerta

The discovery was made after drilling a well to 15,000 feet and horizontally for another 3,280 feet on the Bajo del Choique block in the southwestern province of Neuquen, Exxon- Mobil Exploration Argentina said a statement. Stephen M. Greenlee, president of Exxon- Mobil Exploration Company, said in the statement it was the company’s first shale discovery on an operated block in Argentina.
