Singapore—India imported an average 315,000 b/d of Iranian crude in the first four months of this year, up 28.6% on the same period of 2013 when crude imports from Iran averaged 245,000 b/d, provisional data from shipping sources showed Monday. But volumes from Iran fell by more than half between March and April, to 181,667 b/d from 388,710 b/d in March, tanker arrival data collated by a shipping agency showed. Compared with April 2013, the latest monthly volume showed a drop of 6.7%.
