Gazprom Neft starts Badra commercial output

Moscow—Russia’s Gazprom Neft, which operates the Badra oil field in Iraq, said Monday it had begun commercial crude production from the field and had started delivering oil to the export terminal at Basrah. The start of commercial production at the field is in line with Gazprom Neft’s earlier projections. “Current deliveries from Badra to the [Iraqi] pipeline stand at over 15,000 b/d, and this level should be maintained until the end of 2014,” Gazprom Neft said.
