Oil provinces to sue Baghdad over oil payments

Baghdad—The governors of Basrah, Kirkuk and several other oil-producing provinces in Iraq are planning to file lawsuits and stage protests against the Baghdad government, which they believe intends to renege on a pledged increase in “petrodollar” payments.
