Kiev—Ukraine’s transit of Russian oil for export to Europe has not yet been affected by the incursion of Russian troops into Crimea, but escalating tensions between the neighboring countries mean disruptions to supplies are a potential threat. Transit volumes of Russian oil fell 0.4% year on year to 1.136 million mt in February from 1.141 million mt shipped in February 2013, an energy and coal industry ministry official said Thursday.
