Norway to review major project delays

London—Norway has ordered an investigation into major new oil and gas projects that have been subject to delays and cost overruns, saying it wanted to ensure that mistakes would not be repeated in the future. The review will cover all projects developed between 2006 and 2008 worth more than NOK10 billion ($1.7 billion), the oil and energy ministry said, citing “significant problems” at some recently completed offshore developments.
