Tullow says Guinea concession under force majeure

Cape Town-The UK-listed Tullow has sus- pended preparations for its maiden explora- tion well offshore Guinea due to an ongoing investigation by US authorities into its block partner Hyperdynamics. Tullow said it has informed the govern- ment of Guinea of a force majeure event under the Production Sharing Contract and the Joint Operating Agreement which covers its large deepwater offshore Guinea block.
