Strike hits key Libyan oil export terminals

London—The disruption to Libya’s oil sector continues to affect loadings and exports despite a short period of respite, as strike action has again forced the closure of two of Libya’s key crude export terminals, Es Sider and Ras Lanuf. Since the end of May, Libya’s oil sector has been hit by strikes and other protests by workers and local people demanding better conditions and more employment in the post- Qadhafi Libyan oil sector.
