Tehran—Iran could consider offering crude price discounts in the future to regain its former markets, a senior Iranian oil official said Tuesday. Mohsen Ghamsari, director of international affairs at the National Iranian Oil, told oil ministry news service Shana that Tehran could consider discounting its crude in order to win back its traditional markets once sanctions were eventually lifted.
