India approves higher gas price for Reliance

Mumbai—India’s Cabinet on Thursday approved a higher price for natural gas produced by Reliance Industries from the eastern offshore Krishna Godavari block, but with conditions, Oil Minister M. Veerappa Moily said televised remarks. The higher price, under a formula approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs in June, would be applicable to gas produced from the D1 and D3 fields in the KG-D6 block owned by Reliance and its partners effective April 1, 2014, Moily said during a New Delhi news conference.
