Houston—Operators of new crude pipelines will have to “fight” to attract barrels to their systems while shale producers hold onto longterm crude-by-rail shipping commitments. Going forward, crude by rail and pipeline operators will vie for shippers’ choice, RBN Energy President Rusty Braziel said May 14.
