Dhaka—Bangladesh and Russia plan to conduct a joint study to find ways in which Russian gas giant Gazprom can increase its involvement in the South Asian country’s energy sector. “Gazprom is keen to get involved in Bangladesh’s oil and gas sector in a bigger way by providing financial support, carrying out exploration activities and developing skilled manpower,” Abul Kalam Azad, economic relations division secretary, said Monday on his return from Moscow.
