London—Marathon Oil and its French partner Total have made a “significant” find of highquality oil and gas in Iraqi Kurdistan, the US company said Wednesday. The Mirawa-1 exploration well in the Harir block discovered multiple stacked oil and natural gas producing zones and flowed oil at a rate of 11,000 b/d, Marathon said.
