DONG eyes doubling of production by 2020

London—Denmark’s DONG Energy hopes to more than double oil and gas output to 150,000 b/d of oil equivalent by 2020, as it powers ahead with the development of a number of existing finds where no decision on investment has yet been taken. DONG CEO Henrik Poulsen told an analysts conference that his group would aggressively develop its portfolio in the coming years and would spend some 40% of its total investment program on oil and gas assets.
