Moscow—Kazakhstan plans to complete the expansion of the Atasu-Alashankou section of the Kazakhstan-China crude pipeline to 20 million mt/year—from the current 12 million mt/year—by the end of 2013, well ahead of schedule, Kazakhstan’s oil and gas minister Uzakbay Karabalin said Wednesday.
