Indonesia cuts domestic LNG allocation

Jakarta—The Indonesian government has revised down the volume of LNG it plans to allocate to domestic floating storage and regasification units to 644 cargoes, or an equivalent of 37 million mt, compared with estimates of 46 million mt announced in February. The 20% downward revision follows due diligence conducted by upstream regulator SKK Migas on the real needs of the upcoming FSRUs in the country, Poppy Ahmad Nafis, head of SKK Migas’ gas and commercialization division, said May 15.
