Jakarta—Some oil and gas companies operating in Indonesia are likely to delay their commitments to drill 19 exploration wells in offshore areas this year because of the new land and building tax, an Indonesian oil official said Wednesday. Aussie B. Gautama, deputy chairman for planning control at upstream regulator SKK Migas, said the 19 wells were targeting up to 1.6 billion barrels of oil and 3.7 Tcf of gas.
