Singapore—China’s net gasoil exports surged to 400,000 mt in March—the largest monthly volumes in the two years—amid muted growth in domestic demand and a creep up in refining capacity. Net exports of gasoil have totaled 910,000 mt over the first quarter of this year, versus 60,000 mt of net imports over the first quarter of 2012, recently released final trade and output data from the government showed. China, typically balanced in gasoil, has now been a net exporter of the product for nine straight months.
