Petrochina buys Petrobras' Peru assets

Rio de Janeiro-The $2.6 billion sale by Brazil- ian state-owned Petrobras of its Peruvian oil and gas assets to state-owned PetroChina and its parents was seen as positive by ana- lysts, for both Brazil and China. Petrobras and PetroChina released news of the sale on Wednesday.
