Cape Town—While Libya’s oil sector continues to be disrupted by protests at fields and export terminals, exploration work in the country continues with state-owned NOC Tuesday announcing two new major natural gas finds. A consortium of Algeria’s Sonatrach, Oil India and the Indian Oil Corp. discovered gas in western Libya’s Ghadames Basin near the border with Algeria, NOC said Tuesday in a statement on its website.
