Origin eyes LNG cooperation with Chile’s ENAP

Syndey—Integrated Australian energy company Origin Energy is still in discussions with Chile’s Empresa Nacional Del Petroleo over plans for cooperation over the supply of LNG to the fast-growing energy sector in the South American country, an Origin spokesman said this week. Origin last year signed a memorandum of understanding with state-owned ENAP under which the two companies would jointly explore downstream energy opportunities and the procurement of LNG by Chile.
