Gazprom Neft completes Moscow refinery upgrade

Moscow—Russia’s Gazprom Neft has completed an upgrade to its 220,000 b/d Moscow refinery and launched a new catalytic cracking and hydrotreating unit, as well as a light naphtha isomerization unit. The modernization enables the plant to switch all fuel production to Euro 5 specifications. Construction of the catalytic cracking and hydrocracking unit cost Rb5.7 billion ($175 million). The light naphtha isomerization unit cost Rb10.9 billion.
