Middle East production at record levels

Dubai—Oil and natural gas liquids production in the Middle East has reached an all-time high this year and is set to increase further, a senior analyst at UK-based consultancy Wood Mackenzie said Tuesday. The company’s data show total liquids production from the region climbing steadily over the past four years to a projected 27 million b/d in 2013 from the most recent trough of about 23 million b/d in 2009.
