New York—Delaware environmentalists lost a battle at a hearing in Dover, Delaware to stop PBF Energy’s plan to move Bakken and Canadian crude to its US East Coast refineries. After a day of testimony on July 16, members of Delaware’s Coastal Zone Industrial Control Board voted unanimously that PBF’s crude by rail plans were not in in violation of the Coastal Zone Act, as claimed by the by the Delaware Audubon Society and Sierra Club’s Delaware chapter.
