Amman—Iraq exported 2.622 million b/d of crude oil in April, a rise of 205,000 b/d over March and the highest export level since October last year, according to figures supplied by sources close to state oil marketer SOMO. The rise in exports reverses a period of decline that began in November last year and coincided with the suspension of oil exports by the semi-autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government due to a pay dispute with Baghdad.
