India MRPL to import 3 million mt of Iranian crude

Mumbai—Indian state refiner Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) plans to import around 3 million mt, or an average of around 120,800 b/d, of crude oil from Iran in the period October 2013-March 2014, managing director P.P. Upadhya said Tuesday. “We plan to import 3 million mt for the rest of the financial year, if everything goes well,” Upadhya said following the release of the company’s latest quarterly report.
