London—Iranian crude exports rose by 13% in February to 1.28 million b/d despite new US sanctions designed to pressure Tehran into halting its nuclear program by curbing oil shipments from the country, the International Energy Agency said March 13. Shipments from Iran rose to 1.28 million b/d last month from an upwardly revised 1.13 million b/d in January, the higher volumes going to China and India, the IEA said in its latest monthly report.
