Indonesia to name new SKMigas chairman

Jakarta—Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is expected to appoint before the end of the first quarter a new chief for the country’s temporary upstream regulator SKMigas, which was set up following the dissolution of former regulator BPMigas in November last year. SKMigas is currently being led by Energy and Mines Minister Jero Wacik.
